Parental Alienation Symposium 2017
History was made on April 29, 2017, with the “Parental Alienation Symposium 2017: Real Solutions” in Dallas, Texas when 250 people from around the world, including nearly every state in the US and 4 different countries, assembled for the largest and most comprehensive Parental Alienation conference to date.
The sell-out event was packed with educational content, thus granting Continuing Education Units to the professionals who attended. Mental health professionals, attorneys, teachers, affected parents, and grandparents spent the day getting empowered and educated. The symposium was followed by the annual event Bubbles of LOVE Day DFW.
Following Bubbles of LOVE Day DFW, all symposium attendees were invited to an evening meet-and-greet where they were able to mix and mingle with others. There were many smiles and much laughter at the meet-and-greet, rare and needed by alienated parents and grandparents. Attendees of the meet-and-greet also had the opportunity to speak directly with the symposium presenters including Keynote Speaker Dr. Craig Childress, author of “For The Love Of Eryk” Rod McCall, and Chairperson/Master Of Ceremonies Wendy Perry.
Dr. Craig Childress called Parental Alienation Symposium 2017 “the tipping point” and “a catalyst” in the parental alienation eradication movement. Introductions and connections made by the Parental Alienation Symposium 2017 directly lead to the formation of the AB-PA (Attachment Based Parental Alienation) Pilot Program in Houston, Texas.
“Before the Dallas Symposium on Parental Alienation, we were focused on the problem of ‘parental alienation.’ Now – after the Dallas Symposium – we are focused on the solution to “parental alienation.” Every step we now take is a step closer to the solution. We are on a different path now. My deep appreciation to Wendy Perry and to her husband Rob, and to all of your many colleagues who helped you to put together and host a wonderful event in Dallas.
